Chad and Jeannette are engaged.  On behalf of Georgetown’s class of ‘95, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!

We did this photoshoot along the Charles River.  Jeannette is also a photographer so I was flattered when she asked me to shoot their engagement photos. 

Their little man Bo came along for protection.  They are both major runners (i.e. Jeannette recently won a marathon) so we had fun creating this shot below.

Meet Jaylin Allen – personal trainer extraordinaire. She is the owner of AIR Personal Fitness and runs a variety of boot camps and training programs that can meet anyone’s needs. I do believe her fuscha-dyed hair is her subtle way of saying “my workouts are going to kick your a** and at the same time be a blast.”  She has a private studio in the Back Bay and can also come to you.  Check out her website.

Beppe and Sarah’s Mom arranged for a photographer to come to her house for an 11:45am photoshoot of the children.  Plan was to surprise the Dad with some prints for his birthday. 

Almost wasn’t a surprise when the photographer knocked at the door and the Dad answered.  Thank goodness the photographer can spot a Dad a mile away, could tell that said Dad was late in getting to work that morning (dressed for work but with slippers on), and could hear the Mom quickly rounding the corner of the street with the two children saying “Oh no!  Is the surprise spoiled?!!”. 

I must brag note that the photogarpher is quite slick in these situations and reassured the Mom the surprise wasn’t spoiled while simultaneously answering the Dad’s probing questions with uninformative polite responses.  I kept my camera bag hidden behind my back as we hustled the perplexed Dad off to work and let out a “whew” as the fence gate clicked shut.
