Lucy & Mom & Dad

Wow. Beautiful people, lovely scenery, irresistible 8 month old. Basically a morning of “job heaven” down on the Cape.

We started off with a family photo at the same spot they had their wedding photos taken. And then back to the house for some beach time. I got to be there as Lucy experienced two things for the very first time: being tossed (gently) into the air, and sitting directly on the sand instead of on a blanket. I think she would have inspected how the sand stuck to her hands and fell on her dress for a long time had we not scooped her up to get closer to the water.

It was a pleasure to meet you all. More photos shortly!

Turning 1 is fun

I had the pleasure of spending a Saturday afternoon photographing Amelia and Charley’s one year old birthday party down on the Cape.  Grandparents, extended family and good friends came together to celebrate these little girls and their parents.

It was fascinating to photograph the girls again and see how much they’ve grown. Though Miss Amelia (the brunette) seems to be the more reserved one, she couldn’t help expressing sheer pride when held by the older girls.  Miss Charley amused the crowd with her unbridled enthusiasm for the birthday cake and when finished was taken to the hose for a little rinse.

Safe to say kids of all ages were entertained. The guests, the food, the candy shoppe, the weather, the view – all simply delightful.

So nice to see you all again. More photos soon!

Two girls

It was so nice to meet Miss Clare and Miss Lilly! It was a fairly sultry morning, and while the girls enjoyed being outside, it was rejuvenating to head inside their cool house to refresh. Apparently Lilly took a 4 (!!!) hour nap after I left. I’m hoping it was due to the heat and not me!

F.U.N.

We did this photo shoot on a really humid Saturday. There was lots of play with the two beautiful boys, Simon and Asher, and their baby sister, Miriam. And then sprinklers . . . their Dad figured out how to override the automated irrigation system and get all six rotating spouts running. So the kids changed into suits and I managed to get more great shots. Despite the parents coaching me on when to move out of the way of oncoming sprays, I did feel very “refreshed” at the end. Lots of fun!

A Gift for Grandparents

Brothers Brian and Garrett wanted to get their families together to surprise their parents with some portraits (if you know Chuck and Barb, shhhhhhhh). We met at a little park to romp around for the morning and finished just as it started to drizzle. Three energetic boys made the most of their chance to run, crawl and chew for the camera.
Great to see you guys!
